Emperor Autumn is a delightful Darjeeling Autumn Flush Tea with aromatic floral notes and light cup which are typically reminiscent of high elevation clonal autumn teas. It is produced from some of the highest peaks of Gopaldhara Tea Estate which stretches up to 7000 FT.

It is made from clonal bushes and looks brownish black with abundant tips. It brews into a bright orange cup with excellent muscatel notes. The tea gives a sweet flavor of honey with tastes of dense ripe fruits but without any astringency. The aftertaste is well-defined and long lasting.

The tea is has been produced in early November when the temperature though lower still has not yet reached very low levels. It has been produced from very fine leaf single leaf and buds and is plucked from the highest elevations which stretch from 5500 to 7000 FT. It has been well oxidized but you still get the prominent fruity flavor.

The appearance of the tea is blackish leaf with few tips. It brews into a bright coppery infusion with and a fully transparent orange liquor. The tea has good appreciable clonal flavor with prominent Autumnal Muscatel character.
