Spring Sencha Green 2018 is a Darjeeling First Flush Green Tea produced from the high quality green tea clones at the highest elevated peaks of Gopaldhara Tea Estate. The leaves having less tanning content are finely plucked that makes the tea less bitter. The leaves are plucked young and tender to produce a smooth cup. Oxidation is skipped to ensure all the essential anti-oxidants and polyphenols are prominently present. The leaves are gently rolled which allows them in opening up by the pot when brewed. The tea has light green colored liquor having sweet and vegetal flavor with deep crisp refreshing finish and zero astringency. The leaves are polished and flattened instead of being cut to a standard size. This process makes the tea very smooth to drink as they are sorted less and a large portion of the leaf is completely retained.

The top elevation of Gopaldhara Tea Estate which stretched up to 5500-7000 Ft above sea level imparts a very special character to the teas which is very unique to Darjeeling Teas. The garden workers are very careful in plucking the leaves and make sure only the best shoots with prominent buds are plucked. The plucking is of such fine quality that the tea mostly needs to be hand-sorted with very less machinery works involved.
