Sencha Green Tea is produced from high quality green tea clones from the high elevations peaks of Gopaldhara from very fine plucked shoots. They have very less tannin content in them and that makes them less bitter than the usual Darjeeling clones. The leaves are plucked young and tender to produce a smooth cup. It brews into bright green cup and has a refreshing energy with a balance of sweet vegetal flavor.

It has a deep crisp refreshing finish. The teas are different in appearance from the Darjeeling green tea teas as they are polished and flattened instead of being cut to a standard size. This also makes the teas smooth as they sorted less and a very large portion of the whole leaf is retained.
